BESPOKE RIBBON BELT

Belts can be specially created with your logo & lettering repeated along the whole length of the belt.

They are available in 3 different styles:
1. D-Ring Belts. Made with 2 D-rings at the end of webbing, these are considered a 'safer' belt as the D-rings tend to hug your body shape more. This is important when your don't want to risk your belt becoming entangled in equipment around you e.g. on a sailing boat. Made in different length sizes.
2. Buckle Belt. A more traditional style belt with a metal buckle mounted on leather ends. Also made in different length sizes.
3. Adjustable Buckle Belt. Also made with a metal/leather buckle combination, but there is also an adjuster to enable the belt to be adjusted from a size S to 2XL. Ideal for clubs etc. who want to just hold one size belt in stock.

Woven Ribbon.

To make a custom belt, we first have to weave your logo into finely woven ribbon which is 25mm wide. Minimum weaving length is 10 metres which will make about 6 belts. Because of the limited space, it is essential you liase with us on your graphics/art design to achieve the results that you want. Up to 5 colours can be used on a colour background.

Webbing.

Once we have your woven ribbon, it is then sewn onto webbing before the fittings (D-Ring or Buckles) are added to the ends to complete your belt. Various colour webbing is available.

SUBLIMATION PRINT

The sublimation style belt, these are a  D ring style, made from stainless steel and finished in a colour of your choice with a robust ceramic protective coating which is suitable for marine environments and has substantial anti corrosion properties. The end tip of the D ring is made from genuine hide leather and stitched onto the end of the webbing.  The fixing of the D rings to the webbing is accomplished using a reinforced box stitch using bonded nylon thread. The webbing is made to any size range from very small up to 3xl, the flip back part of the webbing is 300 mm which allows for adequate feed through the D rings and any trouser loops so the belt appearance of the logo when worn is matched.

I’ve joined M/Y Kamalaya as chief stewardess, a new Build 55m Amels four months prior to its launch with the task of planning the crew uniform. At the best of times this involves a lot of headaches. Finding a true gem like The Superyacht Shop amidst an ocean of uniform suppliers to the yachting industry turned out to be one of the most effortless tasks involving the setup of a new build yacht.

Meeting the girls in person kickstarted our relationship. With a background in the fashion industry I have very high standards regarding clothing (fabric content, fit and price). I was extremely excited about what we had worked on. Once the storyboards came together, I had to propose it to our owner who was highly impressed. Presenting the actual sample of each garment to him triggered the excitement any new yacht owner should have. Nothing was impossible for these 2 ladies, both of them with a very practical approach as they sure know the day to day challenges we face in the industry.

Their passion, their patience, and their eye for detail that goes far beyond only uniform makes you want to visit Southampton in winter! They supplied us with everything, from crew towels, guest toiletries, guest give a ways, beautiful umbrella’s with our logo on etc. Options were endless and they sourced all our sometimes pedantic requests.
Within a rather short time frame, they managed to pull off what a lot of yachts struggle with – Delivery on time.

I hope to set up another new build in the near future. Without a doubt The Superyacht Shop will be the first phone call I make. Working together with these girls was an absolute pleasure.
